A Florida mother was arrested after police say she drove drunk to pick up her son from school.

Police responding to a car accident involving Brenda Shryock said her breath smelled like alcohol, MyFoxTampaBay.com reported.

Shryock reportedly was yelling and crying at the scene near Brooksville Elementary School.

Police arrested Shyrock after she refused to take a breathalyzer test, MyFoxTampabay.com reported.

Shyrock is charged with DUI and is currently being held on $1,000 bond.
