Utah Gov. Gary Herbert says he's asked for a review of security at the state Capitol building after a Layton man drove his truck up the building's steps earlier this week.
Herbert said Thursday that as a government official who is sometimes a target, he was worried about the incident.
The Utah Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Gerald Weston Green drove his pickup up about two dozen steps Tuesday afternoon and parked outside the building, before trying to get into the state Supreme Court.
Troopers say a Taser did not subdue Green, so an officer punched him in the face.
Green has been hospitalized and authorities say they found he was growing marijuana at his home. Green told investigators he went to the Capitol to promote marijuana legalization.
