The problems plaguing the Affordable Care Act exchanges are creating a nightmare for the White House.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is facing increasing demands to resign. Now the White House is bringing in Jeffrey Zients to work on issues with the HC exchange rollout, and apparently to become the public face of Obamacare. Where that leaves Sebelius is open to speculation.
Zients is already supposed to take over as Obama's chief economic adviser next year.
Meantime, the technology problems continue. The Medicaid expansion portion for low income users is reportedly impossibly screwed up, and may take "longer than expected" to fix. The Obama Administration admitting that and another crucial component are in trouble. The Spanish language portion also still not working and there's not timeline on a fix. Molly Henneberg reports.
At 10am, House Democrats will be briefed on Obamacare's implementation. Hopefully we'll have some sound after that meeting. Mike Emanuel reports.
