Washington dad allegedly injects son, 4, with heroin

REDMOND, Wash. – Police say a Redmond man and his 4-year-old son who apparently overdosed on heroin remain in hospitals Wednesday in stable condition and sedated.

Drugs and drug paraphernalia that were found with the two are being tested to identify the suspected substances.

Police say they have no reason to believe anyone else was involved.

Lt. Charlie Gorman said officers were called to the home Tuesday morning by the boy's mother who found her son and husband unconscious. It appeared the father had injected himself and his son with heroin.
