The brother of Giants coach Tom Coughlin died this week following a fall on his way home from Sunday’s game.

John Coughlin, 63 — a horse trainer who rarely missed a chance to watch his big brother coach a game — tripped and hit his head on a curb after getting out of a cab at his Hackensack, NJ, home, according to a report.

He had been taking the blood thinner Coumadin for a heart condition, and the medicine and head injury caused his brain to swell, the Newark Star-Ledger said.

Tom, 67, was at Hackensack Medical Center when John was taken off life support late Monday.

Just hours before, John had tailgated with pals before the Giants lost to the Denver Broncos. He stopped at a local pub before hailing a cab home, the paper reported.
