#NYFW Mara Hoffman A Bright Berkeley Beat Comes to Brooklyn

"I'm kind of obsessed with the beaded rainbow serpent dashiki," said Mara Hoffman of the Spring 2014 collection she showed at Lincoln Center at the beginning of Fashion Week. In an interview backstage, the New York designer said she was feeling rainbows, and the idea of serpents as agents of change. The bright pops of a multitude of color was refreshing. As she described it, clothes with a "mystical edge." We're hoping to have Mara come on as a guest of the show for our small business spotlight in the near future.
