Investigators say a box likely containing human remains has been found on the property where a missing toddler was last seen about three months ago.

An autopsy was scheduled Friday in the case related to the disappearance of Elaina Steinfurth from her Toledo neighborhood June 2.

Lucas County Coroner James Patrick says the remains, which were found in a computer box in a detached garage, appear to be human.

The Blade newspaper in Toledo reports (http://bit.ly/1dX8jpJ) that city police and federal investigators have previously searched the property several times.

The 19-month-old's mother and her boyfriend are both in jail after being accused of obstructing justice during the investigation

Volunteers and authorities have searched all over the city for the girl.
