Monday August 19, 2013 Happening Now - Egypt In Chaos; Pistorius Charged, POTUS Returns from Vacation

Violence continue to rack Egypt today. The Army says several Islamists were killed while in custody Sunday.. as many as 36 detainees. Today, Islamists killed 25 policeman in an ambush in northern Sinai... the scene of nearly daily deadly attacks on Egyptian security forces. Yesterday, several prominent Republicans criticized the Obama Administration over military aid to Egypt. The EU is meeting today in Brussels to discuss how to respond to a week of violence and spreading chaos.

Double amputee Oscar Pistorius was formally indicted in South Africa on premeditated murder charges. The Olympian is charged with killing model and girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day.

Casey Stegall reporting on the continuing military trial of Nidal Hasan accused of killing 13 at Fort Hood in 2009.

The Bear Creek Fire in Idaho has burned more than 100k acres. Alicia Acuna reports.
