'All-clear' issued at Cal State Long Beach after gunman reported on campus

Authorities say the campus of California State University, Long Beach has been deemed all clear after a gunman was reported on campus.

Students had been told to evacuate or seek shelter via an alert issued on the school's website after the man was reported near the school's Engineering Technology area.

The initial alert said police were "engaging the threat'' and urged students, faculty and staff to evacuate.

The school says that classes and business on campus will resume as usual.
