A suburban New York rabbi accused of angrily flashing a fake badge at fellow motorists is due in court on the first of his two arrests.
Rabbi Alfredo Borodowski has an appointment Thursday in Mamaroneck Village Court on a charge of impersonating a police officer.
It comes just hours after he was charged with the same crime in White Plains.
The 49-year-old rabbi allegedly pulled his car alongside a woman's in Mamaroneck last month, flashed a badge and shouted: "Police! Pull over!"
He told police he was angry about her slow driving.
On Wednesday, Borodowski was arrested in White Plains, where a driver complained the rabbi confronted him in a rage in May, claiming to be an officer and displaying a badge.
His defense lawyer says Borodowski has bipolar disorder.
