The Massachusetts State Police searched the side of Route 128 Tuesday for evidence in the Aaron Hernandez murder investigation, a source told MyFoxBoston.com.

According to the report, police were looking for a mirror that broke off of the suspected murder vehicle, as well as shell casings.

The former Patriots star is charged with murder in the death of 27-year-old football player Odin Lloyd. Hernandez is due back in court next Wednesday.
