Reporter's Notebook: At the Zimmerman trial

Another person sitting in the public gallery of the Zimmerman trial was tossed out by court deputies Tuesday when their cellphone went off while court was in session.

In the 21 days since the trial began, more than a dozen people, including journalists, have been removed from court – along with their smartphones.

The mandatory penalty for the offending culprits?

Permanent removal until the end of the trial.

The most common reason: offenders forget to turn off Siri, the computerized Iphone voice.

When will the defense rest? It looks like Wednesday.

At the end of testimony Tuesday, Fox News asked Zimmerman attorney Mark O’Mara if that was his last witness.

“No,” O’Mara replied. “We have a few more for tomorrow.”

However, it seemed unlikely Zimmerman himself would testify.
