Monday July 8, 2013 Happening Now - New Video, Images & Information from Asiana Airlines Flight 214 Crash

Investigators poring over data in the crash of Asiana Airlines flight 214. Two Chinese teenagers were killed and several more critically injured when the plane crashed on landing at San Francisco International Airport. There are new reports the pilot landing the plane was training, and the plane may have tried to abort the landing after realizing it was coming in too slowly. Video seems to show the landing gear being torn off as the plane came in short of the runway and hit a sea wall. William La Jeunesse, Claudia Cowan, and Adam Housley reporting.

All 10 people aboard an air taxi were killed after a crash at Soldotna Airport in Alaska. The twin-engine plane was fully engulfed in flames as firefighters arrived.

They are still putting out fires after a train derailment in Canada that left at least 5 dead and 40 more missing. A runaway train carrying crude oil jumped the tracks and exploded causing major fires. 30 buildings were completely destroyed.

Congress is back in session. We're looking for indications on whether or not the House will act on immigration reform. Mike Emanuel reporting.

The George Zimmerman murder trial will resume today with the defense case after the prosecution wrapped up on Friday. Phil Keating reporting.

At least 42 are dead after new violence in Egypt. The dead are supporters of ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi who were demanding his return in a sit-in outside a military building. Troops allegedly opened fire on the protesters. Conor Powell reporting.
