Egyptians at camp in Maine watch events unfold in homeland from more than 5,000 miles away

Nearly two-dozen campers from Egypt who arrived last month at a special camp in Maine aimed at helping Israeli and Arab teens overcome their differences will return to a country looking for new leadership following the largest demonstrations in the country's history.

Millions of Egyptians took to the streets this week, leading to the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi. Morsi loyalists fought back Friday, leading to bloody clashes.

For now, 67-year-old Adly Mansour, the head of the Supreme Constitutional Court, is serving as interim president.

Seeds of Peace counselor Mostafa Ismail, who's watching from 5,000 miles away in Otisfield, Maine, says the country needs to take baby steps to ensure Egyptians have good choices on the ballot when they elect someone to replace the interim leader.
