Fort Morgan police say that human remains found last week are that of missing teenager Kayla Chadwick.
The girl had been missing since March of last year, when she was 17, KMGH-TV reported.
Police have said that Chadwick disappeared after an argument with her 19-year-old boyfriend, Ivan Torralba. The two were senior classmates at Fort Morgan High School.
Police said the cause of Chadwick's death remains unknown. Officers rearrested Chadwick's boyfriend last month on a drug violation. He was on bond on perjury charges related to the girl's disappearance. However, he has not been charged with committing a crime against Chadwick.
