Police in Boston say an alleged thief was easily nabbed due to the fact he left his own birth certificate and a letter from his mother at the scene of the crime.
Boston.com reports a woman told authorities she had her wallet snatched by a thief who followed her into the school yard at a local middle school.
The thief allegedly dropped two bags in the process. Police say one contained the birth certificate of 26-year-old Zachary Tentoni and a note from Tentoni's mother.
Police tracked Tentoni down and arrested him for the robbery, Boston.com reports.
