Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint in Philadelphia.
The 23-year-old Temple University graduate was held up on Drexel Road near Haverford Avenue in Overbrook Park around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to published reports.
Sources say a man armed with a handgun jumped out of a car, demanding Pierce's wallet, cell phone and keys.
The thief then took off in Pierce's SUV.
It was found abandoned on Monday.
There have been no arrests. Pierce was not hurt.
