Bail is set at $250,000 each for Philadelphia parents who believe in faith healing over medicine and have had two children die of pneumonia.

Herbert and Catherine Schaible were in custody Thursday. They're charged with third-degree murder in the April death of their 8-month-old son, Brandon.

They had been convicted of involuntary manslaughter after 2-year-old Kent Schaible died in 2009.

They were also required to get their children medical care as part of their probation. Yet prosecutors say they prayed over Brandon for two weeks before he died, and never called a doctor.

The couple's seven surviving children are in foster care.

Defense lawyers say the Schaibles have no ill intent.

Herbert Schaible's lawyer will ask a judge to reduce his bail Friday. Prosecutors want the couple held without bail.
