NYC teen held on charges of tossing boy from roof

A Bronx teenager has been arrested and accused of tossing a 9-year-old boy off the roof of a five-story building.

The victim was discovered late Friday lying unconscious near the building in the Morris Heights neighborhood. He was in critical condition at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.

Seventeen-year-old Carmine Aska was arrested Saturday and accused of attempted murder. Police say he threw his 9-year-old neighbor off the roof.

No information on a lawyer for the teen was available.
