Texas authorities are searching for a suspect after a brazen carjacking in a crowded Walmart parking lot Wednesday evening.
Police say a mother and daughter were loading their shopping bags into their truck when two suspects drove up, pinning the family in, MyFoxHouston.com reports.
One of the men reportedly was armed with a gun and demanded the keys, while the other suspect remained in the car.
The armed suspect then got into the truck and started driving away -- with the seven-year-old girl still inside.
The girl's mother tried to hold on to the side of the truck but eventually lost her grip. Then, the carjacker tossed the girl out of the window of the stolen truck and sped off.
"He told me to get out so I said OK and I started crying so he just pulled me out and opened the door and threw me out," the girl said.
Neither of the victims suffered serious physical injuries, MyFoxHouston.com reports.
The stolen Chevy truck is maroon with Texas license plate 30ZFF5.
