Jurors have heard more police interrogation in the trial of a woman accused of killing her boyfriend in his suburban Phoenix home.

Prosecutors on Tuesday played a voicemail Jodi Arias allegedly left for Travis Alexander on his phone six hours after his June 2008 death.

They claim Arias left the voicemail to cover her tracks.

Prosecutors say Arias shot the 30-year-old Alexander in the face, stabbed him 27 times and slit his throat, then left him in a shower in his Mesa home.

Arias claims the killing was in self-defense.

Prosecutors argue the actions were those of a jealous woman who brutally attacked Alexander after he tried to end their relationship.

The 32-year-old Arias could become the fourth woman on Arizona's death row if she's convicted in the high-profile case.
