Colorado police are searching for two suspects after four victims were sprayed with a flammable substance and then set on fire Thursday night.

One of the victims told police two men walked into her Denver home and demanded drugs or threatened to set the house on fire.  She believes the suspects may have had the wrong address.

A female victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in serious condition, KDVR reports.

Three other victims were treated for less serious burns.

“My uncle was burned. My neighbor’s face got burned off. It was bad,” Chantel Ramirez, who was called home by a friend, told KDVR.

Police tell KDVR that the suspects used bug spray as an accelerant.

Less than an hour before the attack, suspects tried to rob a store just blocks away from the home and then attempted to light it on fire.

The attacks come a day after suspects attempted to rob and set fire to a check cashing store. Police say “it’s too early to tell,” whether the attacks are linked.

“There are similarities and there are differences,” Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesperson told KDVR.

“This is highly unusual,” Jackson said.

Descriptions of the suspects have not been released.
