NEW YORK – Police are looking for a man who attacked an elderly woman in an elevator in the West Village.
The man was captured on a surveillance video knocking down the 85-year-old woman to the ground and stealing her bag and wedding ring.
The attack occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday at 305 W. 13th St.
The victim, who said her husband was on life support, said she asked the attacker to give back the ring but he refused.
