Officials say the bus that crashed at Miami's airport, killing two people, was carrying 32 people who were part of a group of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Miami International Airport spokesman Greg Chin says he was told by passengers that the bus was traveling to West Palm Beach, which is roughly 70 miles north of Miami.

Police say most of the passengers on board were elderly, including the two men who died. Three people remained in critical condition.

Federal records show the bus was owned by Miami Bus Service Corp., which did not respond to a phone message Saturday.

Police say the driver was not familiar with the area and entered the airport by mistake before smashing into a concrete overhang.
