An infant girl who disappeared from her family's suburban Philadelphia apartment earlier this week has been found dead.
Ten-month-old Saanvi Venna (SAHN'-vee VEHN'-ah) had been missing since Monday, the day her 61-year-old grandmother was found slain in the family's Upper Merion Township apartment.
Authorities say a person of interest is in custody, but the person was not identified by police.
Saanvi's parents moved to the area in June after having lived in Texas, Ohio and Michigan since moving to the U.S. from India in 2007.
Officers with search dogs scoured the area surrounding the apartment complex in the days since her grandmother's body was discovered.
The Montgomery County coroner says the grandmother, Satyavathi Venna (saht-yah-VAH'-thee VEHN'-ah), died of cuts to her neck and chest
