The last debate is done. Lots of meat to tear through today. Most pundits and the snap polls suggest President Obama won the debate on points, but Governor Romney made no major mistakes. Most don't believe the debate will change too many minds. We'll see. Three post-debate polls gave the win to President Obama.

Speaking of polls, new polling from CBS news and ABC news both have the race essentially tied right now.

Some of the best quotes last night (IMHO):

President Obama saying "You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed."

Governor Romney saying "I congratulate him on taking out Usama bin Laden and going after the leadership in Al Qaeda, but we can't kill our way out of this mess."

President Obam saying "Gov. Romney, I'm glad that you recogvnize that Al Qaeda is a threat because a few months ago when you asked what's the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not Al Qaeda, you said Russia. The 1980's are calling and asking for their foreign policy back."

Governor Romney saying "We get to a balanced budget within eight to ten years. We do it by reducing spending in a whole series of programs. By the way, number one I get rid of is Obamacare."
