The first presidential debate took place in Denver last night.. in a substantive fight over fixing the economy, health care, government spending, deficits and jobs. There were no major gaffes, but most analysts gave the debate win to Mitt Romney. Some analysts say the President seemed off his A game. As Jenna Lee points out Bill Kristol called Mister Romney's performance the best by a Republican candidate in decades.

We'll have lots of analysis and look ahead to the potential impact on the race.

Mister Romney heads for Virginia and Florida next. President Obama goes to Colorado, Wisconsin, Virginia and Ohio.
