A female University of Texas-Pan American student was recovered by authorities and is back with her family, university police told FoxNews.com.

Authorities would not discuss the woman’s condition or her location when found, citing an ongoing investigation. She had been missing since Tuesday evening, The Monitor, a local newspaper, reported.

Witnesses reported seeing the female student being forced into a car by two men Tuesday night on the school's north campus.

Authorities received the call at 7:15 p.m. The witness described a man placing his hand over the woman’s mouth and forcing her into a silver-and-black car, possibly a Mercury Cougar. There were two suspects described as Hispanic males, the report said.

One suspect reportedly has a dark complexion and light beard and the other is in his mid-20s, 5’8” and weighs about 240 pounds.
