A fired up Mitt Romney emerged last night at a speech to Latino voters in Florida. Governor Romney spoke at a Univision forum in Coral Gables. says President Obama has failed in promises he made to the community, and says he would find a bipartisan solution to the national debate over illegal immigration. Mister Romney is unveiling a much more aggressive campaign strategy.. adding stops in several battleground states and promising a more traditional campaign as the clock ticks towards the election. There's been some criticism from within the GOP that Mister Romney hasn't been campaigning personally enough in some states.

Today Mister Romney continues campaigning in Florida with a stop in Sarasota. VP candidate Paul Ryan is working on Capitol Hill and holds a fundraiser tonight.

President Obama heads to Florida today where he'll participate in a town hall - also hosted by Univision.

VP Biden has private meetings.

We'll keep a close eye on the Virginia senate race today where polls show an increasingly tight race between Tim Kaine (D) and George Allen (R). The two square off in a debate in McClean, VA at Noon today. Mike Emanuel will turn some sound from that.

Congressional analysts now say nearly 6 million Americans will face a tax penalty under the President's health care overhaul for not buying insurance.. mostly middle class folks. That's according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.. that's a big change from what they said in 2010 and worth digging into today.

Last night a measure that would have spent a billion dollars on services for U.S. vets failed in the U.S. Senate by two votes. Cue the outrage.

New reaction today to the Justice Department's inspector general report on Fast & Furious that came out late yesterday. The report absolves Attorney General Eric Holder of blame in the gun walking scandal , but led to the resignation of to high ranking officials yesterday. There is a hearing today by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. House and Senate Republicans investigating the case will continue to push, and may not be satisfied.
