A district attorney is investigating the death of a 25-year-old western Pennsylvania woman at the home of a physician she met about three weeks ago.

The Associated Press is not identifying the 53-year-old doctor because he has not been charged in the woman's death.

Westmoreland County District Attorney John Peck says police and his office are investigating because of the "suspicious circumstances" surrounding the death of Mia Vottero, of Southwest Greensburg, on Friday.

Investigators say she spent the night at the physician's home in Ligonier after they went to a bar and he found her unresponsive in bed the next morning and called 911.

Peck wouldn't detail the "suspicious circumstances" but a police search warrant says the woman's body was moved to the other side of the bed and covered neatly with sheets before they were called.
