Protests continue to rage in Muslim capitals in several countries including Egypt, Oman and Yemen. In Cairo, riot police have been so-far-successful at pushing back violent protesters. It should be noted the protests are not that large.. maybe up to a thousand people. Conor Powell is in Kabul, Leland Vittert in Cairo and Greg Palkot is in London, Jennifer Griffin at the Pentagon and James Rosen is at the State Department.

The protests come over the ridiculous idea that the U.S. government is somehow pushing a low budget movie that attacks Islam. It's not true.

It comes as we learn new details about just what went down at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Four were killed including the U.S. ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens. Now it appears the attack was coordinated and well planned. Four people have been arrested according to Libyan officials, but the crime scene appears unguarded and not much of an investigation is underway. The attack has all the hallmarks of an Al Qaeda attack.

Embassy security has been dramatically increased at U.S. embassies around the world.

Meantime, Kenyan police said today they stopped a major terror attack in its final stages.. arresting two people with bombs and weapons.

Speaking of the election,
