Tucson shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner will be at a hearing today that will determine if he's competent enough to agree to a plea deal. He's accused of carrying out the shooting rampage in Tucson that killed six and injured 13 including then-Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The hearing is scheduled for 2pm in Tucson. Alicia Acuna is there reporting and we'll have our legal panel weigh in as well.
We're learning new and disturbing details about the suspect in the Sikh Temple Shooting in Oak Creek, Wisconsin that left 7 dead including the gunman. Wade Michael Page was reportedly a drunk, a failed soldier and a white supremacist who urged skinheads to act more decisively. Page described himself as a member of the white supremacist group "Hammerskins Nation." Page also played in supremacist groups "Definite Hate" and "End Apathy."
For the third month in a row, the Romney campaign has outraised the Obama campaign. Last month, Romney raised more than 100 million dollars. The Obama campaign raised just 75 million dollars.
Gov Romney is campaigning today in Elk Grove Village in Illinois before flying to Des Moines, Iowa for a fundraiser and campaign event. He's also announced a multi-state bus tour that will take him to VA, NC, FL and OH in the coming days.
President Obama has meetings at the White House before he holds campaign events in Washington.

Fighting has intensified once again in Aleppo - Syria's largest city. Despite attacks by Syrian troops using attack choppers, missiles and warplanes, rebels continue to make progress there. We're hearing some reports, however, that rebels may pull out out of Aleppo and regroup. We'll try to get a clearer picture today in reporting by Dominic Di-Natale. Meantime, there is some speculation that the Assad regime may be crumbling from within as the prime minister fled with his family yesterday.
