A 13-year-old girl and two other students at a California middle school were arrested for allegedly conspiring to kill the girl's mother over an imposed curfew.

Police responded to an incident Tuesday morning at a home in Hesperia, Calif. A woman reportedly told authorities that she had been attacked by her 13-year-old daughter, who fled the scene.

Investigators later said the teenage girl and two other juveniles plotted to kill the woman over house rules, including a curfew, KTLA reported.

The teen, as well as a 14-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy, were arrested in the alleged plan. The three were booked at the Apple Valley Juvenile Detention Facility for attempted murder, burglary and conspiracy.

The woman was not seriously hurt in the attack, according to the station.
