Two teenagers were killed and another seriously injured Friday night when they were hit by a train in upstate New York.

The three were walking when the train hit them in Westfield, near New York's borders with both Pennsylvania and Canada, WGRZ-TV reported.

The incident occurred at about 6:30pm local time, Chautauqua County Sheriff Joseph Gerace said.

The survivor was flown by helicopter to the hospital. The victims' ages and names have not been reported.
