What a night for Rick Santorum. He won votes in Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado. Big upset wins for him. Mitt Romney downplaying the results. Ron Paul says he wants to be heard at the convention..

Newt Gingrich is in Ohio today. Romney is in Atlanta. Rick Santorum is on Fox & Friends and then campaigns in Texas. Ron Paul has no events scheduled. The next battles are Arizona and Michigan which hold primaries on February 28th, and then of course comes SUPER TUESDAY in early March.

Six Gulf countries have joined France , the U.S. and other western nations in pulling their embassy staff out of Syria. A renewed bombardment yesterday in Homs killed at least 15.
