Learning about a dramatic raid by U.S. commandoes in Somalia. The troops swept in and rescued two people - 1 American and 1 Dane - in a daring operation. Apparently you could see President Obama congratulating Leon Panetta before the SOTU address last night.

The President laid out his vision of America and the way forward last night. Among the biggest themes "fairness." He's calling for attracting manufacturing, improving education and providing energy security. Critics say it was nothing but a giant stump speech. In fact, he kicks off a three-day trip to several swing states today.

Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels gave the GOP response.. slamming the President for trying to divide the nation, and saying he heard "pro-poverty" extremism in the speech. Some republicans have called for Daniels to jump into the race for the White House.

Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum all campaigning in Florida today. (Ron Paul is skipping FL by the way for now). All three will be speaking in a forum at Univision. Gingrich is speaking at 11:45 in Coral Springs, FL. We may dip in to that rally.

Couple of things on Capitol Hill to keep an eye on. Rep Gabby Giffords will be on the House floor at 9am to discuss her border security bill. Her vote will be her last official act as a member of Congress.

The First Lady and Agriculture Secretary expected to announce today that most school lunches will soon have less sodium, more whole grains and more fruits and veggies.
