Philadelphia police have arrested a man in the brawl between Flyers and Rangers fans following the Winter Classic game on Jan. 2.
A police spokeswoman says a man was taken into custody Thursday.
Police say an off-duty Woodbridge Township, N.J police officer and Iraq veteran was left with injuries that required stitches.
In an edited version of a YouTube video of the altercation released by Philadelphia police, a man in a Flyers jersey throws the first punch after a verbal confrontation. The video ends with a Rangers fan lying stunned in the street outside a popular South Philadelphia cheesesteak shop.
Authorities did not immediately release the suspect's name. Police had been trying to track down three men involved in the altercation.
