A Brooklyn man who worked for social service agencies is charged in a 144-count indictment with sexually abusing two boys.

According to CBS New York, Andrew Goodman is accused of abusing the children since 2006. One boy was 11 to 15 years old at the time. The other was 13 to 16.

Attorney Israel Fried says that even if his client spent a lot of time with the boys, it doesn't mean any crimes were committed.

Rabbi Shea Hecht of the National Committee for Furtherance of Jewish Education says he spoke to the alleged victims and found them to be credible.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind says it's difficult to get people in the Orthodox community to come forward in such cases because of intense social consequences.
