A Boston-area teen is suing her township and two former school officials after she claims they failed to stop a male student from harassing her via sext message, MyFoxBoston.com reports.
The 18-year-old claims the former principle of Stoughton High School failed to intervene when a male student circulated nude photos of her to classmates. The woman says the incident happened four years ago.
According to MyFoxBoston.com, her lawsuit claims the school did not discipline the boy, who was then a 17-year-old junior, because he is a relative of the principal.
The boy would later plead guilty to assaulting the woman, MyFoxBoston reports.
The suit also claims police failed to inform the woman, who was 14 at the time, that distribution of the nude photographs could have been a crime.
