World markets continued a surge as the Central Banks of the largest economies acted in unison to shore up Europe.. Dow closed up some 4%. We'll see if we can continue the trend today.

Newt on a roll.. new polling shows he continues to solidify a lead as he and Mitt Romney trade barbs. Ron Paul now getting in on the act too.. releasing a sharply critical ad attacking Newt. Speaking of Newt. He speaks today at 11am.. We might want to listen for a few moments.

0930EST -- The Senate meets. Expecting final vote on Defense Spending Bill, then cloture votes on Reid's Payroll Tax Cut Extension bill, and then on the GOP's alternative bill.
