ATLANTA, Ga.--Zoo Atlanta's giant panda cub is celebrating his first birthday.
The celebration for the cub, named "Po," will start at 11 a.m. Thursday. The first 100 guests to visit the giant panda habitat at the zoo before then will get a special prize.
Po was the only giant panda cub born at a U.S. zoo last year. He's the third cub born at Zoo Atlanta to parents Lun Lun (loon loon) and Yang Yang (yahng yahng).
The cub is named after the main character from the popular animated movie "Kung Fu Panda."
Only four U.S. zoos have giant pandas, which are leased from China: Atlanta; Memphis, Tenn.; San Diego and Washington.
