Multiple Fox sources confirming the death of Anwar Al-Awlaki. He and his guards were hit by an airstrike about 40 miles from the Saudi Arabian border in Yemen. He was born in the United States, and was a main driver behind the Fort Hood shootings in Texas that killed 13, the failed Times Square terror plot and the Christmas day attempted plane bombing in 2009. Catherine Herridge has also reported he may have played a role in 9/11. It is not clear yet if it was Yemeni forces or U.S. forces that are responsible, but the United States has resumed airstrikes in the region including in Yemen.

Worth noting: U.S. drone strikes also killed 3 militants in Pakistan today... that's a whole other mess we need to deal with.

Awaiting comments from the President. Hillary Clinton due at an even in Arkansas at 11:30.. perhaps she'll comment?
