Authorities on New York’s Long Island released composite sketches Tuesday of two unidentified victims whose bodies were found along a deserted stretch of Ocean Parkway. Police released the sketches in their hunt for a serial killer or killers.

The unidentified bodies are among 10 discovered along Ocean Parkway over the past 10 months. Four of the bodies have already been identified as prostitutes who advertised on Craigslist.

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer told reporters Tuesday he did not know if there was more than one killer connected to the 10 victims – some of whom were killed at least 10 years ago.

"It could be one or it could be more killers," Dormer said. "It’s a possibility that they’re all connected, but I’m not going to speculate on that."

The head, hands and foot of one woman recovered in April have been positively linked to a torso found in Manorville, N.Y., in 2000, Dormer said. Police also released a sketch of a young Asian man whose body was found dressed in women's clothing.

Dormer also released photos of items found on other victims, including an earring and a bracelet. He also released an image of a necklace worn by a toddler, whose remains were also recovered.

The four identified prostitutes -- Megan Waterman, 22, Melissa Barthelemy, 24, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, and Amber Costello, 27 -- were all found last year wrapped in burlap bags and dumped along Ocean Parkway. All four women had advertised their services on Craigslist, authorities said. Their bodies were discovered after police launched a massive search for 24-year-old Shannan Gilbert, of Jersey City, N.J. Gilbert has never been found.
