One of our chat room commenters, Donna, really, really, REALLY wanted the dog with floppy ears to be today's Must See Moment. But, alas, a dunken moose beat it out.

That was a great story, but this blogger felt that this little guy deserves some glory, too.

Harbor, a Black and Tan Coonhound from Colorado was just recognized for having the longest ears on a living dog. Guinness World Records will give out awards for just about anything, won't it? (Note: Not really. See the section entitled "What kind of records should I NOT try to break?") The purebred's human says Harbor used to trip over his ears and fall down stairs when he was but a pup. Now he's grown into his ears, so more falling. He still gets lots of second glances when they go for walks, though!
