HARRIMAN, Tenn. – A Harriman woman and three children have been killed in a crash involving her sport utility vehicle and a tractor-trailer truck.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the driver of the SUV as Stephanie N. Brown, who was 31 years old. Also killed were 8-month-old Grason Brown, 7-year-old Jackson Brown and 9-year-old Gage Brown.
The investigating trooper said the SUV crossed the center line of state Rt. 61 near Harriman on Tuesday evening and collided head-on with the big truck. Both vehicles caught fire and burned.
The driver of the truck, Joe Sexton of Harriman, was injured, according to a THP accident investigation report.
No charges will be filed.
