President Obama heads off for vacation today, but not before giving an interview to CBS News saying we could solve our economic problems fairly simply if Congress would just get to work! We'll ask Steve Moore about that!

New polling by Gallup has some bad news for the President.. His approval rating on the economy hits 26%.. his lowest ever.. We get new #s today on CPI, weekly jobless claims, leading indicators and existing home sales. Markets set for a lower open after an ugly day overseas.

We got word today the Dept of Justice has launched a probe into S&P! Apparently it was in the works *before* they downgraded the U.S. credit rating.
