A Connecticut teacher was placed on administrative leave after it was revealed that she allegedly forced any student who used the bathroom in her portable classroom to wash the toilet bowl, NBCconnecticut.com reported.

Catherine Saur, an art teacher at the Kennelly School in Hartford, Conn., allegedly even forced people who washed their hands to take paper towels and bleach and clean the toilet, the station reported.

One student apparently had an allergic reaction to the cleaner and told a parent about the teacher’s demands, according to the report.

The school’s principal told parents in a letter that Saur had been requiring her students to clean the seat for two years.

One person at the school, however, did not appear too concerned about the teacher’s alleged unusual demand.

"If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat," the person reportedly said.
