Missing Teen Found at Meth Lab Bites Police Officer

A missing teen found at a meth lab in a Florida home Saturday was arrested on drug charges and later bit an officer, telling him, "I hope you got rabies," the Orlando Sentinel reports.

When police went to the Hampton Road home in Daytona Beach at 2 p.m. to search for a missing teen girl, the 16-year-old answered the door with 21-year-old Everett Gonzalez, according to officers at the scene.

Gonzalez allowed officers and his mother, the homeowner, inside to retrieve keys for the missing teen's vehicle. Once inside, however, they found glass pipes, clear baggies and various powders and liquids on the kitchen counter.

When Gonzalez's mother let officers continue the search, they found a red cooler with a plastic bottle containing methamphetamine, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Gonzalez, who said his "supplier" came to the home three days earlier to cook the meth, was charged with manufacturing and trafficking in methamphetamine and a felony marijuana possession.

When police searched the teen's purse, they found cocaine and marijuana, and reported that she refused to stay still and tried to walk away from the officers.

When an officer tried to stop her from leaving, she bit his wrist and told him, "I hope you got rabies," according to police reports.

The teen girl was arrested on charges of drug possession, battery on a law enforcement officer, possession of paraphernalia, and manufacturing and trafficking in methamphetamines.
