Two teachers and a bus driver were killed when their bus was struck by an 18-wheeler at an intersection near Calhoun County, Miss.
The accident happened on Mississippi highway 8, about 40 miles south of the University of Mississippi at Oxford.
The students, 62 seniors from Ackerman High School travelling in two buses, were returning from a career day event prior to the collision.
Seven students were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries and the other students were taken to a nearby firehouse, said a school official.
The names of the deceased were not released.
