Authorities say they think they've found the black bag that the accused Arizona gunman had in the hours before the shooting.

Chief Rick Kastigar with the Pima County Sheriff's Office told The Associated Press on Thursday that a black bag found in a neighborhood near where the suspect lives has been found. Kastigar says are items in the bag that might be related to the case.

Authorities have said the suspect, Jared Loughner, and his father got into a confrontation over the bag at their home in the hours before the shooting.

An 18-year-old man who was walking his dog found the black bag and took it to an adult, who called the sheriff's office.

Authorities did not say what was in the bag.
